Tomatoes are a globally cultivated and popular vegetable. The quality of tomatoes is significantly influenced by the us of organic fertilizers. It was discovered that organic fertilizers increase tomato productivity and improve fruit quality.

If your soil is well-balanced and composted, you can use fertilizers with NPK of 4-6-3. If your soil lacks nitrogen use a more balanced fertilizer, such as 10-10-10 NPK ratio, when plants are still developing.

Global warming is the warming of the earth's atmosphere. climate change can can affect agriculture in a variety of ways. Beyond a certain range of temperatures, warming tends to reduce yields because crops speed through their development, producing less grain in the process. Higher temperatures interfere with the ability of plants to get and use moisture.

However, moderate warming and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere may help some plants to grow faster. Our atmosphere requires protection from all those who breathe from it

Today i had the privilege to visit one of the biggest produce plantation in Ha-Mugumo Itsani. During this visit, many farmers were either preparing land for the next crops to be planted, irrigating, putting fertilizers or harvesting.

After interviewing some of these farmers, two things were raised that was in common from all their beliefs and culture.

1. Supply of water is low based irrigating by taking turns which result in more than 20% of the produce not making it to the harvest stage.

2. Lack of knowledge in identitying the market place since they only focus on the operational part of the business.

This led me on the conclusion that farming is one thing and selling the produce is another

The domestic market for tomatoes in South Africa is strong, with tomatoes being a staple food in many households. There is also a growing export market, with South African tomatoes being exported to neighbouring countries and beyond. However, meeting the export quality standards and competition from other countries can be challenging for local farmers.

The import and export dynamics of tomatoes in South Africa are influenced by several key factors that affect the country's ability to participate in international markets as well as meet domestic demand. South Africa primarily aims to satisfy its domestic demand for tomatoes through local production. Depending on the season and production levels, the country may import tomatoes to cover shortfalls in domestic supply or export excess production.

Import and export activities can be highly seasonal and influenced by the local production cycle. During peak harvest times, South Africa might have a surplus for export, while during off-peak times, it might need to import tomatoes to meet local demand.

The country's trade in tomatoes involves neighbouring countries and others within the African continent. Exported tomatoes must meet the quality standards of the destination countries, and similarly, imports must comply with South African standards to ensure they are safe for consumption and do not introduce pests or diseases

Today marks one of those days we view as being frustrating due to heavy winds. This type of weather condition sets many crop plantation back as it either leaves the crops bent or worse the stem cut down. As an organization a sense of realization on crop safety mitigation then became a thing one should invest on since it has everything to do with crop security.

Society believes that only humans and animals need a roof over their head which to us seems valid to the masses. It is important to protect our crops as they are pillars that give leverage and flexibility of trading in the market place. Remember this, the harder it is to implement the lighter you become.
