Starting to accept (grudgingly) that we are back to those times when the next generation of billion dollar businesses to be built in Nigeria will probably not be built by Nigerians. Thoughts???

It makes me sad but it turns out too many smart young Nigerians living in Nigeria who should be figuring out how to turn our current myriad of challenges into opportunity may be too mentally exhausted to tackle them.

I’m hopeful about our diaspora though. They seem to be the only ones buckling this trend but it’s critical they have the humility to learn from those who have taken the time to deeply understand the market and have the battle scars to show for it.
