I'm Abigael Kavwele, a facilitator and women's empowerment advocate focused on helping African women address the internal barriers that keep them from stepping fully into their potential.
I founded She Speaks Africa in November 2024 because I saw a gap in how we approach women's empowerment—lots of motivational content, but very little addressing the deep internal work: imposter syndrome, limiting beliefs, fear of judgment, and the need for external approval.
I'm also Director at Fair Compete Consultancy, where I've developed curriculum and training content for entrepreneurship programs. This experience has taught me how to design learning experiences, structure programs, and work within organizational contexts.
What drives my work is the belief that transformation happens when women have safe spaces to be vulnerable, ask hard questions, and build the self-trust needed to navigate professional and personal challenges. I facilitate those spaces—whether through intimate webinars, workshops, or community-building initiatives.
I'm early in my journey with She Speaks Africa—just three months in—but I bring lived experience, facilitation skills, a deep understanding of what young African women need, and the commitment to scale this work through strategic partnerships with organizations doing gender equality work at a higher level.
