I hold a Master of Science in Agribusiness and Value Chain Management from Jimma University, alongside Bachelor's degrees in Rural Development from Yardstick International College and Plant Science from Bako TVET College. With over 16 years of professional experience 14 of which have been dedicated to project work in international organizations and national NGOs I bring deep expertise in agricultural development, natural resource management, and community-based project implementation.

My career includes significant roles in government and NGO-led initiatives such as the JICA-supported Participatory Forest Management (PFM) project, the SOS Girls’ Empowerment Project, and the Environment and Forest Coffee Forum, focusing on the production, marketing, and certification of forest, garden, and semi-forest coffee. I've served in various capacities ranging from grassroots implementation to project management.

I have worked extensively with diverse community groups, including Farmer Field Schools (FFS), Forest Coffee User Cooperatives, Women’s Groups, and Youth Groups. My strengths lie in project management, grassroots facilitation, capacity building, training, community mobilization, partnership development, and coaching and mentoring for sustainable development outcomes.
