Yesterday I sat in on a webinar about unemployment and honestly? It got me thinking. 🤔
We spend so much time talking about:
- Creating jobs
- Building skills
- Networking strategies
But we rarely talk about what unemployment does to your mind.
The shame. The self-doubt. The "maybe I'm just not good enough" thoughts that creep in after the 20th rejection email.
And here's the thing: You can't step into opportunity if you've convinced yourself you don't deserve it.
That's why @shespeaksafrica exists. Because before we can change the world, we need to believe we're allowed to.
If you've ever felt stuck, unseen, or unqualified — I see you. And I'm building spaces where we rebuild that belief together.
You're not alone. And you're more capable than you think. 💙
